We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced **Leading Hand **to join our team**,** initially working at our Wahroonga project.

**About the role**:
As a Leading Hand, you will play a crucial role assisting in overseeing daily operations on-site, ensuring that our residential apartment projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. You will be the link between management and the crew, driving productivity while fostering a positive work environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate daily activities of the construction crew.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Assist in scheduling tasks and managing workflow on-site.
- Mentor and train team members, promoting skill development and teamwork.
- Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to achieve project milestones.
- Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders regarding project status and any issues that arise.
- Assist with site inductions
- Assist with co-ordinating trades on site.
- Carry out various construction work tasks using tools and materials supplied when required and requested by site staff.

**Skills and experience**:

- Proven experience in a leading hand or supervisory role within mid-high rise construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Qualified carpenter
- Ability to read and interpret plans and technical drawings.
- Proficient in problem-solving and decision-making under pressure.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., White Card, First Aid) are preferred.
- Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
- Be willing and able to work at various project locations within the Sydney metro area.
