**THE OPPORTUNITY**

**RESPONSIBILITES**
- Define and maintain the technology vision and associated roadmap for all in-scope systems with a focus on our customer facing design and quoting platform
- Coach, guide and educate software developers in software engineering best practices
- Serve as a member of the IT Leadership team and collaborate with other members to ensure the successful delivery of all IT services across the organisation
- Drive and manage a software engineering operating model and associated practices that deliver frequent improvements through rapid iterations
- Ensure projects are well planned, suitably structured with appropriate governance across scope, schedule, budget, resources and risks

**ABOUT YOU**
For this key position, we’re seeking a passionate and highly motivated Software Development Manager, a true front-line leader who leads by example and one that brings:

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science (or equivalent)
- Well-developed people leadership and management experience
- Project management experience with at least one qualification in a delivery methodology
- Experience coaching and educating developers in software engineering practices
- Skilled in analysing business opportunities and designing technology solutions
