Goomeri is situated in the beautiful South Burnett, a peanut growing and wine-producing area on the Great Dividing Range, north of the Darling Downs. The small town (pop-700) is a 45 minute drive from the town of Kingaroy, and a 90 minute drive to the Bunya Mountains, where you can explore the extensive range of walking trails, hand feed colourful native birds and soak up the panoramic mountain views.
