About the Role Working as part of the Production Team you will undertake the mechanical assembly and fit out of parts and components to our range of products and equipment.that meets design and build requirements and the delivery of a quality product to our customers.

Responsibilities and Duties - Perform the mechanical assembly and fit out of parts and components to our range of products and equipment. - Prepare and modify truck chassis to enable accurate attachment to truck body. - Complete the assembly and routing of electrical harnesses. - Undertake commissioning and testing of equipment in preparation for quality checking and final delivery. - Initiate and complete work orders for approval and sign off. - Identify defective equipment and worn mechanical components and undertake repairs / corrective action. - Ensure all assigned work completed complies with quality and safety requirements and standards. - Complete accurate and timely administrative records of work undertaken.

Technical Knowledge and skills - A Trade Qualification as a Fitter or Mechanic - Experience working in the automotive/truck industry - A good understanding of hydraulics - Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings - Excellent communication skills - The ability to work without supervision - A full toolkit

**Salary**: $60,001.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bendigo, VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Fitter: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Order Picking Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
