About the role

You will be responsible for the servicing and installation of domestic Type A gas appliances for our clients within the Bendigo area.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Performing carbon monoxide tests, & negative pressure environment testing.
- Gas leak tests
- Conducting inspections, cleaning, servicing, and repairing gas appliances to ensure they are safe for continued use. These appliances include cooktops, hot water services, heaters, furnaces, copper work, and gas lines.
- Providing all aspects of the gas services meet the current Australian standards.

**Qualifications**:
Applicants must have one of the following qualifications OR three (3) years of relevant experience in a relevant occupation:

- AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training; OR,
- AQF Certificate IV

Applicants must have all of the following:

- VBA Gas Fitting license
- VBA Type A Appliance Servicing Registration (Essential)

**Requirements**:
Applicants must have all of the following
- Good self-presentation
- Ability to work well with a team as well as work autonomously
- Good written and verbal communication skills and good interpersonal skills
- Good knowledge of gas regulations
- National Police Check
- Valid Australian driver’s license

**Salary**: $93,600.00 - $104,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bendigo VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Fitter: 1 year (preferred)
