Intermediate Auditor Audit and Assurance

**Your new career**

We are looking for an Intermediate Auditor to join our Audit and Assurance division to support the delivery of external client engagements. You will have the opportunity to work with a range of Australian clients across various industries including sporting, not-for-profit, commerce, and other listed companies.

As an Intermediate Auditor you will have 2+ years of field experience with proven record of engaging with and support clients with their Audit needs. You will work closely with our Senior Auditors during engagements by taking instructions and ensuring work produced meets internal quality and Australian Auditing Standards.
- Key responsibilities will include: _
- Support in the delivery of external audit fieldwork including the identifying and gathering of information for reporting purposes
- Undertake field work for financial and compliance audits including interim and final testing
- Collaborate with the preparation of work papers with clean and concise reports in accordance with Audit Methodology
- Support in the preparation of statutory financial statements and understand tax computations including tax journals and financial statement disclosures
- Strong working knowledge of Excel with the ability to filter, manipulate and interpret data
- Liaise with manager to ensure jobs are reviewed and completed on time
- Fully utilise Audit software program - Caseware

**What you bring**

You are an established Auditor with a minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a similar-sized Public Practice firm and hold a CA or CPA designation, or are near completion.
- To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate: _
- A passion for advisory and delivering a high quality service to clients
- A developing understanding of Australian Accounting Standards (AASB), Australian Auditing Standards (ASA) and relevant legislation applicable to assurance engagements.
- Ability to build trusted relationships with clients with a curious mindset to understand their business needs
- Outstanding attention to detail and time management, with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Ability to collaborate with a close-knit team as well as work under mínimal supervision
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ambition to develop as a highly technical Auditor to build a long-term career in a mid-tier Public Practice firm
- Previous experience with Xero and CaseWare is desirable.

Some out of hours work and travel to client premises will be required.
