**About the Company**

Talent International has partnered with a highly reputable Australian Avionics company in sourcing an experienced Environment and Sustainability Specialist.

**About the Role**

The Environment & Sustainability Specialist will lead the development and implementation of an environmental monitoring program, provide technical input to reduce pollution risk and ensure compliance, identify and address environmental risks, and work with the Environment and Sustainability team to achieve strategic goals and continuous improvement in environmental sustainability.

**Requirements**:

- 6 + years' professional experience in Environmental Sustainability
- Bachelor degree or higher in Environmental Engineering/Environmental Science or similar
- Strong expertise in managing and analysing data related to energy, waste, contamination, air quality, and sustainability
- Demonstrated ability to improve environmental controls through the delivery of projects
- Strong numerical and analytic skills, with a keen attention to detail
- Extensive experience in designing and implementing monitoring programs to achieve strategic goals
- Project management skills, including the ability to prioritise and deliver work on schedule while managing multiple tasks with competing priorities
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels

**Terms**
- 2 year fixed-term contract (with strong potential to extend)
- Hybrid role with flexible working arrangements
- Can be based in Sydney or Melbourne
- Must be able to go into the CBD office as needed
- Paying approximately $120K - $140K + 14% super (commensurate with skills and experience)
