**The Role**
The APS-4 Materiel Logistics Officer is critical in providing logistics support to manage High Assurance Cryptographic Equipment (HACE) capability under sustainment of DEFCOMSECEA; specifically, the ability to provide operations cell support on the movement of HACE domestically and overseas. They will provide support to the Operations Cell manager through routine approvals of movement requests, raising associated work orders.
The APS-4 Materiel Logistics Officer will support the APS-6 Operations Manager through routine management and filing of all correspondence as well as maintaining a correspondence register. The position will, under specific direction, provide best principals and practice and governance support to Other Government Organisations that maintain HACE.

The workforce is made up of diverse professionals with varied experience in sustainment, policy, program management and strategic analysis in Government and private sector and works closely with multiple agencies within and external to the Department of Defence.
We provide and support the cryptographic capability needs for Defence as aligned to National and Defence requirements. The team is passionate about delivering outcomes to support a Whole of Government capability in support of government initiatives. Attention to detail and ability to engage with a range of stakeholders is important. We work across multiple disciplines and all team members are given the opportunity to further develop their skillset.
