**Disability Support Worker - Central Coast**

**About the Company**
- For over 40 years Drake Medox has been a leading provider in home and community care and we pride ourselves on our person centered approach to care in an individuals home.**About the Role**
- This role would include helping a friendly, charismatic individual with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Supporting with personal care and various other duties around her home and community. To be successful in joining our team, you will need to demonstrate ability in the profession and be able to do the following:
**Duties**
- As a Support Worker you will be supporting the client within their own home in the following capacity:
- Community Access and Social support
- Personal Care
- Manual Handling
- Administrating medications
- Dietary Meal preparation

**What we require from you**:

- National Criminal History Check
- Certificate IV in Disability/ Individual Support or Equivalent
- Manual Handling Certificate
- Working With Children's Check
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certification
- NDIS Screener Check & NDIS Orientation Module
- Experience with hoist transfers and manual handling
- Being of service to a family in need of your support
- Being respected and building trust with the family
- Enabling individuals and promoting confidence
- Long hours working with a vibrant individual
