**About us**

The Flatpack Guy Provides a Delivery and Assembly service for major Harvey Norman retail stores around Melbourne from Monday -Saturday. We value all of our employees as they are the back bone of our company. We need reliable, fit and motivated individual's who are capable of working well in a team environment whilst providing exceptional customer service and being able to assemble a vast variety of Furniture/Bedding goods.

**Qualifications & experience**
- Must hold a valid drivers licence
- Ability to lift between 20kg to 50kg repeatedly throughout day
- Excellent customer service
- Trade background preferred but not mandatory
- Capability to understand various diagrams/drawing (Furniture/Bedding)
- Experience with basic hand tools and electrical tools
- Ability to work 6 days a week if needed
- Must have good communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Must have own reliable form of transport

**Tasks & responsibilities**
- Drive and operate trucks
- Follow instructions; locate and read location and road maps.
- Pre-inspect truck.
- Pick up goods and materials, verify loads for accuracy, and deliver and assemble them as instructed.
- Load and unload goods
- Complete and verify paperwork for accuracy
- Communication with clients and customer on a daily basis

**Job Types**: Subcontract, Casual

**Salary**: $200.00 - $250.00 per day

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Christmas bonus
- Tips

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Thomastown, VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Delivery driver: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)

- Australia (preferred)
