Our client has a group of companies working together as a one-stop shop that covers employment, training, health care, real estate and media organisations.
Our client's current marketing team has been the driving force behind their recent success. After over-achieving quarterly targets for the last four years, our client is looking for a Marketing Manager to lead them to achieve their plans.
Our client is currently looking for a Social Media Specialist to work in their Sydney head office with the right attitude, knowledge, experience, and skills to be part of their team, engage our customers and grow our online presence.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager and working within a small but passionate Marketing team, you will increase community interaction, engage with customers, and execute innovative campaigns to reach more customers.
With an extensive knowledgeable background in Social Media Marketing and Google AdWords, you will have complete responsibility for the strategies that not only deliver against brand growth and product-specific lead generation objectives but also increase social media engagement which assists in bringing new customers.

Our client seeks an experienced and motivated Social Media Specialist based out of Sydney with a proven track record of effectively driving a national brand and establishing and executing the social media marketing strategy. Experience across the marketing spectrum, including graphic design, digital and social marketing and Google AdWords, is essential.
**Your responsibilities will include**:
- Develop and execute a social media strategy and plan consistent with the company’s brand identity and Marketing strategies.
- Creating consistent, meaningful content on all social media platforms, including writing and editing social media posts, improving customer engagement, and promoting company promotions, offers and social media campaigns.
- Understands the targeted audience for each social channel, creating content that resonates with the intended audience's interests.
- Liaising with other Marketing team members to develop social media collateral, including images, graphics, video etc.
- Manage SEO for the business to increase the business's visibility.
- Managing a high volume of daily social media posts across multiple social media platforms
- Communicating with social media followers, including responding to queries in a timely manner
- Using analytical tools to monitor and evaluate the company’s social media presence and performance.
- Continuously improve by capturing and analysing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices.
- Suggest recommendations to adjust the social media marketing strategy for optimal results.
- Staying up to date on best practices and emerging trends in social media.
- Sourcing customer project content for use across our social media platforms.
- Preparing monthly reports on social media marketing efforts to share with relevant stakeholders, including Sales, Marketing, Product Development and Senior Management
- Performing other duties when needed.
**About you**
- 3 or more years of social media experience, including planning and managing content.
- Ability to create social media posts with graphic design skills.
- Excellent written, copywriting and verbal communication skills.
- Must have a thorough understanding of social media management and strategy.
- Experience using various analytics software.
- Knowledge of SEO, Google Ad Words and Google Analytics.
- Strong creative mindset
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks.
**Essential Criteria**
- Strong coordination and planning skills.
- Being a team player.
- Strong and clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Good computer literacy, especially in Martech tools, Google Analytics and Google AdWords and other tools to drive social media execution.
- An ability to set priorities and achieve them.
- Ability to meet the company’s KPIs.
