ABOUT THE ROLE
The Customer Service Officer is a supporting role to three Account Managers.
Responsible for providing a high level of quality service through all platforms
- Monitoring and tracking customer consignments
- Corresponding with carriers on consignment pickups, deliveries, delays, or other freight-related issues
- Liaising with customers in terms of freight deliveries, new consignments, pickups and general inquiries
- Liaising with carriers - obtaining ETAs, basic quotes, and creating ad hoc consignments
- Regularly updating information in our freight portal which is integrated with our carriers and customers
- Preparing KPI reports to send to customers
- Answering telephone calls and assisting with inquiries
- Assisting in administrative tasks as required

- Minimum two years experience in a customer service/administration or receptionist role

- Able to multi-task, work under pressure, and achieve individual and team KPIs
- Hardworking, self-motivated, and show initiative
- Proven track record of managing workload, prioritising workload, and multitasking
- A team player
WHAT WE CAN OFFER:
- Once established in the role (after 3 months), we provide flexibility to work from home 2 days a week
- Our team currently WFM 2 days a week, office 3 days a week
- Fair salary package based on experience with annual reviews
- Opportunity to develop into Account Manager role after a 6-12-month period.

**Salary**: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
