Our client is a forward thinking, agile integrated civil & environmental engineering services consultancy firm. **The Role**:
Join our clients organization in a pivotal role that drives continued success. As a valued member of the team, you will leverage your expertise to contribute to a diverse range of water resources engineering projects. This would involve flood modelling to reduce flood risk across Australia. In this capacity you would be using software's including Tuflow and RORB modelling to reduce the risk of flooding, provide flood assessment and Hydrology services.

**Responsibilities**:

- Undertake surface water investigations, flood studies, water balance modelling, stormwater drainage modelling and associated technical reporting.
- Liaise with clients and/or project teams, including civil engineers, geotechnical engineers, landscape architects, hydrogeologists and environmental scientists.
- Collect, compile, present and evaluate/analyze hydrologic and hydraulic data.

**Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience**:

- 2+ years experience, specifically in water resources engineering, flood modelling and hydrology
- Thorough working knowledge with the latest Australian Rainfall and Runoff Guidelines (ARR 2019).
- Ability to set up and run RORB and TUFLOW models in accordance with ARR 2019.
- Demonstrate a desire for learning new skills and professional development.
