**Mechanical Trade Assistant**

BTP has exciting opportunities for an experienced **Mechanical Trade Assistant **within the **engine refurbishment line** to assist with a variety of duties in our component rebuild centre. The role is integral to component refurbishment ensuring that finished product is prepared for dispatch in accordance with quality and customer requirements.

**About You**
- The **Mechanical Trade Assistant **role is integral to **engine refurbishment** line assisting trades personnel with **stripping, cleaning, and administration of components** to bring a rebuilt engine back to its original specification.
- You would also have experience in **lifting and slinging** as well as high degree of attention to detail to ensure quality standards are met in accordance with customer or standard work procedure.

**Key Requirements**:

- Previous **mechanical workshop **experience - as a **Trade Assistant**:

- A current **Forklift** ticket and **Dogging** ticket and experience is a must.
- Basic level understanding of MS office.
- Proactive and positive attitude.
- Valid Manual Australian Driver's Licence.
- Australian Working Rights and National Police Clearance within 6 months.
- Ability to complete Pre-Employment Medical and drug and alcohol testing.
