Job description:

BTP has exciting opportunities for an experienced Mechanical Trade Assistant within the engine refurbishment line to assist with a variety of duties in our component rebuild centre. The role is integral to component refurbishment ensuring that finished product is prepared for dispatch in accordance with quality and customer requirements.

You will Bring:

The Mechanical Trade Assistant role is integral to engine refurbishment line assisting trades personnel with stripping, cleaning, and administration of components to bring a rebuilt engine back to its original specification.

The successful candidate will be required to operate Robo wash machines, use a variety of hand tools as well as move work in the workplace by overhead crane.

The successful candidate would have experience in lifting and slinging as well as high degree of attention to detail to ensure quality standards are met in accordance with customer or standard work procedure.

Key Requirements:

Previous mechanical workshop experience - as a Trade Assistant
A current Forklift ticket and Dogging ticket and experience is a must.
Basic level understanding of MS office.
Proactive and positive attitude.
Valid Manual Australian Driver's Licence.
Australian Working Rights and National Police Clearance within 6 months.
Ability to complete Pre-Employment Medical and drug and alcohol testing.
