**The role & responsibilities**
Fourth Wave are seeking two experienced permanent part time Accounts Receivable officers. Total work hours will be in the vicinity of 25-30 hours per week, with flexibility around how this time is planned per week. However, if you are seeking a full-time role and this job excites you that can also be considered.

Reporting to the Finance Manager and working as part of the Finance & Administration function, you will join a motivated team spread across Australia. You will have a strong work ethic, positive attitude and an eagerness to contribute and support the existing team. Your responsibilities will include:

- Take ownership of your Accounts Receivable portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring accurate records and timely collections.
- Drive processing of customer rebates and analysis of data to match with customer claims.
- Process payments, manage adjustments, and reconcile accounts with accuracy and compliance to accounting policies.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to and resolving customer queries in a timely manner.
- Proactively contact customers with overdue accounts, negotiate payment plans, and resolve payment discrepancies, keeping detailed records
- Prepare reports for management on a weekly/ monthly basis.
- Follow up aged receivables with Sales representatives. Maintaining open communication and collaborative management of outstanding customer accounts.
- Complete month-end through balancing Accounts Receivable ledger and adhering to month end timelines.

**The skills required**
This role will require strong attention to detail, a customer-centric approach, and a personable nature as well as the ability to prioritise and work autonomously. You will need to be an analytical thinker, competent problem-solver, and a confident communicator. Whilst experience working with NetSuite is beneficial it is not necessary; you will have used various accounting packages and can demonstrate strong Excel skills over the course of your career and have the ability to adapt and pick-up new systems quickly.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an Accounts Receivable Role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills - both verbal & written and an ability to influence external stakeholders and to facilitate effective teamwork and collaboration with colleagues.
- Must have a process improvement mindset, be open to learning and taking on new challenges.
- Demonstrated experience in finance roles, with a strong emphasis on accounts receivable functions.
- Intermediate Excel skills, strong reconciliation skills and strong attention to detail.
- Proven ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload while staying cool under pressure.
