Electrical Technician

Company Solar installation company. Certified, trained and qualified to design systems, along with licenced electrical background. Installs are conducted in-house. Duties - Assist Senior Electricians with the servicing and maintenance of Solar Systems. - Prepare estimates for cabling by reviewing Electrical Diagrams, Panel Layouts. - Run Dc, Ac or 3 phase cable up and down, inside and outside the property. - Use multimeter for check voltage and currents on the system - Installed photovoltaic (PV) solar panels on roofs. - Design solar system including placement of panels on roof. - Comfortably identify methods for laying out, orienting and mounting modules or arrays to ensure efficient installation. - Read labels and organize solar panels - Ensure compliance with safety requirements by installing, testing, calibrating and repairing electrical equipment and installations Skills + Experience - Completed a technical qualification in Electrical engineering - A minimum of two years of experience - Knowledge and a high level of competence in all aspects of industrial electrical equipment and instrumentation - A good understanding of electronic equipment - Highly skilled practical hands-on ability is essential
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Subcontract, Apprenticeship
**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
