Role Overview

We're seeking an experienced Electronic Technician to support and maintain sophisticated instrumentation and control systems. Your expertise will be central to ensuring operational reliability, safety compliance, and technical excellence—backed by structured training, supportive systems, and a safety-first culture.


Responsibilities

You'll be hands-on with:

  • Installation, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic instruments and control systems
  • Performing preventative maintenance and safety compliance checks across equipment
  • Recording maintenance and calibration activities in line with NB Electrical's quality and regulatory frameworks
  • Responding promptly to technical breakdowns, coordinating corrective actions
  • Collaborating with site teams and providing technical support or guidance as needed
  • Upholding company and industry safety standards at all times

What You Bring

  • Certificate III (or IV) in Electrical/Electronic or equivalent experience,
  • Demonstrated experience in electronic instrumentation—installation, maintenance, and fault diagnostics
  • Strong skills in testing and calibration methodologies, with practical use of tools and instruments
  • Excellent problem-solving mindset and clear communication—especially when liaising with non-technical colleagues
  • Self-motivated, safety-conscious, and able to perform reliably under minimal supervision
