**Job Position : Trainer and Assessor-**Certificate III /Diploma **Early Childhood Education and Care**
**Working Location: Melbourne**

**Responsibilities**
- Facilitate engaging and practical lessons and workshops for course CHC30121 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, CHC50121 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
- Develop effective teaching strategies to engage student
- Develop and implement a monitoring system to accurately assess student competency
- Mentor and motivate students through their qualifications
- Lead workshops and work with students
- Preparing session plans and contextualising the resources
- Participate in Assessment Validation and Moderation
- Identify individual learning needs
- Provide monthly progress reports on classes and student
- Provide support and feedback to ensure successful completion of programs
- Monitor, mark and conduct student assessments
- Plan, Review and improve training and assessment
- Participate in assessment validation, moderation and continuous improvement
- Conduct workplace visits

**Required Qualifications/Experience**:

- Must have at least 3 years' of experience of delivery and assessment of competency based training
- Must hold a current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or higher
- A relevant vocational qualification at the Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care level
- Working with Children Check
- Language Literacy and Numeracy level which is appropriate to teach others
- A strong passion for the Childcare Industry
- Keen interest in teaching others about the Childcare Industry.
- Must have current industry and training skills directly relevant to the training and assessment being provided
- Have the relevant vocational competencies at least to the level being delivered or assessed
- Ongoing commitment to continued professional development and can provide the associated documentation
- Maintain your industry currency
- Familiar with RTO and ESOS standards
- Excellent communication skills

**Job Types**: Part-time, Contract
Contract length: 8 months

Pay: From $40.00 per hour
