**_ C&K Anne Shearer Kindergarten_** was established in 1957 by Miss Anne Shearer, who founded the kindergarten movement on the Redcliffe Peninsula. We offer a natural, play based learning framework, caring quality educators and a community minded organisation**_. _**

Our aim is to provide an enriched environment where your children can truly grow as individuals and be prepared for the next important steps in their lives. At Anne Shearer Kindergarten we follow C&K’s curriculum approach which captures the essence of C&K and communicates the belief that children are curious, capable, and collaborative learners.

**_ C&K Anne Shearer _**_is_ now looking for a **_Director/Teacher_** who is passionate about working alongside children in their early years and will lead a team that values open communication and sees children as competent and capable learners.

This is a permanent full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week.

You will be a self-starter, love your community and possess a creative vision. Must be committed to continuous improvement, through a collaborative approach with colleagues, community, families, and children. Previous Director Teacher experience is desirable but not essential. An approachable leader amongst your community of families, children, and employees; with a hands-on approach in managing the service operationally.

**You will need to hold**
- Completed Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood or equivalent (recognised by ACECQA as an early childhood teaching qualification).
- First Aid, CPR and Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification
- Paid Blue Card or Exemption Card
- A Police Check current within 3 months or willing to obtain one
