**_ C&K Corbett Street Community Kindergarten_** (previously C&K West End Community Kindergarten & Preschool) has been operating in the heart of West End for over 100 years. Established in 1913 and operating from our current nature - inspired building since 1922, our long-held reputation for providing quality early childhood education in the local community, we appreciate that many children attending our Kindy have parents or older siblings who also attended our Kindy.

Our open plan indoor environment celebrates the Kindy’s history through the thoughtful arrangement of beuatiful, nature inspired, quality learning resources which the children use in a variety of experiences for creative arts, dramatic play, music, project work and quiet learning and reflection.

**_ C&K Corbett Street is_** now looking for a **_Director/Teacher_** who is passionate about working alongside children in their early years and will lead a team that values open communication and sees children as competent and capable learners.

This is a permanent full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week.

You will be a self-starter, love your community and possess a creative vision. Must be committed to continuous improvement, through a collaborative approach with colleagues, community, families, and children. Previous Director Teacher experience is desirable but not essential. An approachable leader amongst your community of families, children, and employees; with a hands-on approach in managing the service operationally.

**You will need to hold**
- Completed Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood or equivalent (recognised by ACECQA as an early childhood teaching qualification).
- First Aid, CPR and Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification
- Paid Blue Card or Exemption Card
- A Police Check current within 3 months or willing to obtain one
