About the Role
- Develop and maintain relationships with employers, training providers and apprenticeship support agencies.
- Provide the Principal/Deputy Principal with a regular update of the program outcomes and identify issues that may impact on the success of the program.
- Provide the Principal/Deputy Principal with strategies and actions to continue to maintain /improve Next Steps data.
- Undertake the development and coordination of high profile events within the school community and take a lead role in the development and implementation of promotional materials, including marketing and communication strategies and initiatives. This would include SETPLAN, career expos and pathway information evenings.
- Develop and provide guidance for the work experience/work placement and off campus programs, including identifying increased opportunities, monitoring students in the workplace, arranging visits where required and managing the preparation, collection and storage of records and data as required by departmental policy
- Coordinate with the Principal/Deputy Principal, the recruitment of students to pathways options and process the enrolment of students into programs for their senior pathway and Year 13.
- Support the Principal/Deputy Principal to develop and implement work readiness programs for Year 10 students, by organising the employer contribution to the program in the form of visits or presentations as appropriate, and arranging opportunities for students to volunteer and gain experience in a variety of workplaces.
- Provide a high level of client support to business and industry partners, and establish feedback loops to ensure continuous improvement.
- Maintain currency of knowledge of the legislation relevant to the School Based Traineeship and Apprenticeship program.
- Participate in Senior School Case Management and provide knowledge and expertise of industry currency to support student engagement and opportunities to succeed.
- Support the Senior School team in data collation across various platforms; One School, TrackEd, QCAA Portal
- Actively engage with industry and business to source School Based Apprenticeship and Traineeship opportunities for prospective students and act as the school's liaison to develop and maintain rapport with businesses, industry professionals, learning institutions and partner schools.
- Identify the needs and successes of the SBAT program by utilising data and student outcomes and problem-solve and strategise with the Deputy Principal ways to continue to maintain and improve the program.
- Support the Principal/Deputy Principal to develop and implement work readiness programs for Year 10 students, by organising the employer contribution to the program in the form of visits or presentations as appropriate, and arranging opportunities for students to volunteer and gain experience in a variety of workplaces.

About You
- Strong communicator who is able to establish long-term rapport with a range of industry professionals
- Knowledge and expertise in departmental policies and procedures relating to school-based apprenticeships, traineeships and work experience
- Well-versed in departmental and school operating software including: One School, QCAA Portal and TrackEd (preferred, but not required)
- Creative m strategic thinker who is able to problem-solve
- Able to analyse data and create actions to respond to trends or issues to continue to build Stretton's industry connections
- Excellent time management skills and able to meet deadlines.

When working in regulated employment an employee must have a current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
