The Opportunity
Stretton State College is seeking a highly experienced and passionate educational leader to step into the role of Principal from the beginning of the 2026 school year.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Lead a large, professional and committed team to deliver strong educational and wellbeing outcomes for Prep-12 students.
- Demonstrate instructional, strategic and collaborative leadership in a complex and challenging setting.
- Maintain a strong focus on delivering world class educational outcomes for all students.
- Value the opportunity to foster and maintain a strong connection within the local community, including staff, School Council Members, Parents and Citizen Association and key community and industry stakeholders.
- Be committed to nurturing ongoing partnerships with other Queensland state schools to support students, teachers and colleagues, and demonstrate commitment to the state schooling sector.
- Value the opportunity to build on the school's legacy and co-design future directions with the broader community, in alignment with the department's Equity and Excellence priorities.
