**Your new company**
A local government organisation in Melbourne known for its parks, arts complexes, sporting and leisure facilities, and retail and commercial sector. They are looking for a Communications Officer in a full-time capacity for a 3-month temporary assignment.
**Your new role**
- Managing the council’s social media channels (organic and paid content) and electronic direct mail (EDM) channels to engage the community
- Plan, produce and publish a range of content, as well as daily online community management and social listening
- Analyse and report against key performance indicators to monitor trends
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Experience managing paid and organic social media and EDM channels
- Expertise in designing, briefing and delivery of engaging digital marketing campaigns
- Ability to identify and mitigate social media risks
