**Position Information**:
Marrickville High School is an inclusive and proud comprehensive public school with a growing enrolment of 530 students that includes students in our five class Support Unit, and those students enrolled in our Intensive English Centre (IEC), which provides specialist English Language development for recently arrived non-English speaking students. In addition, our extensive grounds allow students to pursue a range of extra-curricular activities.

**Selection Criteria**:
- Approval to teach English as a Second Language (7-12).
- Proven ability to support the development of high quality teaching and learning programs across a range of curriculum areas that cater for the needs of students from culturally and linguistically varied backgrounds in an IEC setting.
- Well developed communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to work collaboratively with and contribute to a dynamic team, whole school, and the wider school community.
