We are seeking an experienced Service Manager for a highly successful commercial laundry business specialising in servicing a diverse range of customers and offering integrated hygiene solutions. This role will require you to manage a team of ten direct reports and build a strong working knowledge of all industry practices as well as the company's products and services.

Along with experience in people management, you will have a proven history of creating an enjoyable team culture and have the ability to motivate and drive each person within your team to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction is achieved. You will also play a pivotal role in ensuring that longstanding customer relations are established and assist in prioritising daily runs for the delivery team.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for the coordination of all areas of service. This will include managing the Account Managers, Service Coordinators, and the Delivery Driving team. You will also be responsible for delivery route optimisation and assist in implementing continuous improvement practices.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with the operations team to ensure all services are delivered in full and on time
- monitor production and quality control standards
- Determines responsibilities of assigned tasks to accomplish business objectives
- Identify and onboard new staff that align with the companies culture and values
- Maintain accurate and timely reporting to the management team
- Ensure all customer enquires are actioned and any issues are resolved
- Liaise regularly with other key stakeholders to achieve commitments and client satisfaction
- Hold weekly toolbox meetings with each team to ensure KPIs are being achieved

**Key Requirements**:

- Previous Operations Service Management experience
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Sound commercial business acumen, cost consciousness and change management experience
- Solid communication, mathematical, professional and computer skills
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
- Passion for people and creating an enjoyable work environment
