Advisor Resolution

APRA is currently seeking an Advisor - Resolution, to work in the team implementing APRA’s framework on crisis management. This work enables APRA to achieve its objectives as resolution authority for its regulated industries by ensuring that planning is in place so that, in the unlikely event that an entity exit is required, it can be progressed in an orderly manner to protect depositors, insurance policy holders and superannuation fund members and minimise financial instability.
Through this opportunity you will gain a unique insight into the complexities of resolution planning across the APRA regulated industries. You will have the opportunity the think broadly as well as across the operational detail. You will be able to make recommendations that are supported by well-researched and balanced arguments.
The team gains exposure to senior stakeholders, peer domestic and international agencies, government and industry bodies. At APRA collaboration is a pillar of our core values, and sharing knowledge across the team and organisation is highly regarded.
You will have either tertiary qualifications or on the job equivalent experience, and a keen interest in financial regulation and related policies and protocols. You will be able to identify relevant industry issues and risks across the financial sector. You will be proficient with building relationships across all stakeholder levels, along with excellent organisational, written, communication and consultation skills.
