**The role**:
As a Consultant, Business Lending Experience Process & Operation, you will support the Head of in the day-to-day management of the core business lending product suite. You will drive banker and customer experience excellence, through process improvement, document simplification, digitisation and the delivery of change initiatives that support the B&PB strategy, optimise financial returns, and ensure market leading customer propositions

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Work within the product team across a range of business initiatives to develop and maintain the lending product portfolio.
- Work with areas across B&PB and C&I, representing the business as the key lending SME.
- Accountable for developing & delivering product analytics & reporting for senior stakeholders at GM, EGM level.
- Support the product manager across a range of initiatives including new product development, product enhancements, pricing & reporting, change management and marketing.
- Identify and drive product initiatives which support loan growth, improve risk and reduce cost to enhance overall product profitability.
- Source, compile and present market, client and product information/ data which will be used to drive and formulate product plans - notably market information and trends, competitor information and trends, client behaviour, product metrics.
- Develop financial and pricing models that can be used by the business to quantify new business opportunities and support strategic decision making across the lending portfolio.
- Track initiatives to business case and business objectives post launch and work with other project owners to initiate action as required.

**What you will bring**:

- Demonstrated experience in financial services sector preferably in a product / project management, strategy or operations role.
- Knowledge of business lending systems such as Seibel (EBL), eBOBS, Austin, CASB etc.
- Product / Project Management experience in particular managing the product lifecycle, develop concepts, translate to technical build and implement change initiatives.
- Project / Change management experience, ideally in managing the implementation of a change initiative including integration into sales teams.
- Demonstrated skills in translating data analysis into insights and able to present in a compelling way to influence outcomes.
- Proven ability to define, develop & review plan for delivery of major initiatives & delivers on these consistently.
- Analytical & problem-solving skills including the ability to collect, synthesise and analyse complex data and situations to identify insights and opportunities; coupled with taking a broad view to develop sustainable decisions.
- Proven ability to think laterally and develop commercial business cases and delivery initiatives.
- Demonstrated capabilities in stakeholder management and being able to communicate with influence.
