Port Adelaide, Australia Luminous Care NDIS Pty Ltd Full time

As a Disability Support Worker working, you will be working with Luminous care, where you will provide person-centered and family-centered service providing In-Home supports in our SIL home. Utilize your knowledge and experience working with people with physical and intellectual disabilities to promote independent living skills, community participation and relationship building in a safe environment.

As a team player, you will be flexible and available to provide care and support, who take proactive approaches and self-motivated to demonstrate your person-centered approach.

To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and qualifications:

- Minimum Certificate III in Individualized Support, Disability, Community Services.
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate including CPR.
- Satisfactory criminal history checks for current NDIS Worker Check and DHS Working with Children Check.
- Manual Handling.
- Effective verbal and written communication between participants, families, and staff.
- Administering prescribed medication on a needs basis to individual clients and accurately recording the administration of the prescribed medication in accordance with the Health Care Policy.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record management.
- COVID-19 vaccine certificate or hold a valid exemption.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $34.08 - $37.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
