Through excellent customer service, you will grow an existing portfolio of customers whilst also looking for new business opportunities. To maximise sales and gross profit in product lines in order to achieve individual sales targets and business strategic objectives. To ensure the smooth operating of the sales function by liaising with all team members of the business.
**Details of Job Function**
- Establishes, develops, and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the organisation’s products/services
- Makes telephone calls, in-person visits, and presentations to existing and prospective customers
- Researches sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential
- Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers
- Analyses the territory/market’s potential and determines the value of existing and prospective customers' value to the organisation
- Plans and organises personal sales strategy by maximising the Return on Time Investment for the territory/segment
- Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
**Education/Qualifications**
- Valid Driver's Licence
- Higher School Certificate or Equivalent
**Work Experience**
**Essential**
- Experience in Sales, Account Management and/or Customer Service Environment
**Desirable**
- Experience in B2B Office Supplies and Products
**Key Competencies**
**Essential**
