**Our Journey**:
Monash Health Mental Health Services provides a range of community, bed-based and specialist services covering the Casey, Cardinia, Greater Dandenong, Kingston and Monash LGAs - a population of nearly one million. It has an operational budget of $130 million and employs approximately 820 EFT, representing over 1000 staff.

The Casey Adult Mental Health service is a multi-disciplinary team providing mental health assessment and treatment through the South East Growth corridor in a collaborative team model providing a combination of inpatient, acute and ongoing community and residential mental health services to consumers.

Alongside Aged Mental Health Services, the Program has a number of clinical units including three adult and one youth units (Casey, Dandenong and Clayton), an Early in Life Mental Health Service (comprising mother and baby, child, and adolescent services), Psychology and Specialist Services (PsySS), Drug & Alcohol Services and a Gender Clinic. The rehabilitation program has five PARCS (Preventions and Recovery Care Services) which includes a specialist Women’s only PARCs, an Extended Care PARCs and Youth PARCS; alongside two Community Care Units and a Transitional Support Unit (mental health and disability). All these services are well supported by Community Mental Health Services and Crisis Assessment & Treatment Teams.

The clinical service is supported by an aligned operational structure to enable the provision of high-quality service through the creation of clinical operational partnerships to support staff, patients, carers and their families, and a strong professional structure that supports the governance of the health professional workforce.

This is an exciting Senior Leadership opportunity on an ongoing, Full time basis.

**A Day in the Life**:
The Community Services Managers role is a senior position providing support and oversight to our community based programs including a 24 hour phone triage service, our acute mental health services in community, emergency department and PACER teams in addition to our acute and extended PARCS units, HOPE services and ongoing community care teams.

This role sees many opportunities for involvement in planning and development of future service growth in the Casey Cardinia area along with forming collaborative and sustained relationships with other mental health service providers in the area.

The role is well supported with opportunity for further learning and leadership opportunities in the health care field

As services are located across the Casey Cardinia catchment opportunity to visit sites is a part of your daily experience (Endeavour Hills, Berwick, Narre Warren, Cranbourne and Pakenham)

**About You**:

- Engaging and collaborative
- Organized and well respected leadership skills
- Able to consider and articulate benefits and risks of future service planning development

**What you need**:

- APHRA registration or equivalent depending on professional background
- Minimum 2 - 5 years experience in clinical management with mental health service
- Extensive clinical experience in a relevant clinical area
