Financial Analyst - Sydney, Australia - 6 month Fixed Term Contract

This is a 6 month Fixed Term Contract role, with a possibility of extension. The role is split between our modern central Sydney CBD offices with harbour views, and WFH.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide support to the FP&A team with accuracy and completeness of month end financial reporting for relevant departments.
- Assist with daily regulatory reporting in line with ASIC requirements.
- Monthly calculation of Service Fees and Referral Fees.
- Ownership of quarterly billing to key client segment.
- Assist with the quarterly calculation of GTM (Go To Market) commission payments.
- Other adhoc projects as required.

Qualification and Experience
- Fully or part qualified charted accountant or certified Practicing accountant
- Minimum 3-4 years of post-qualified experience preferably in a Financial Services, Fintech or Banking sector

Skills & Competencies required
- Sharp analytical mind; strong appetite for analysis & control
- Strong attention to detail and ability to problem solve in a complex commercial environment
- Strong commercial acumen with understanding of key business drivers, both financial and non-financial KPIs
- Team player and able to have transparent and productive relationships with peers and collaborate successfully
- Able to communicate and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to be a company-wide change-agent that influences strategic actions and mindset changes
