Melbourne, Australia HESTA Super Fund Full time

Trusted ER/IR advisor to the business
- Provide strategic support and manage complex cases
- Opportunity to work flexibly, generous remuneration package on offer

**_Be inspired everyday - let your work make a difference_**

At HESTA we’re a leading national superannuation fund dedicated to people working in health and community services - a growing sector of ordinary people doing extraordinary things, day in day out, right across Australia.

More than 900,000 Australians trust HESTA with their money. So together, we invest $66 billion of their savings globally, striving to generate strong investment returns and make a real difference to their financial futures. Our focus is on helping our members enjoy the retirement they’ve worked hard for.

**The opportunity**

Anticipating the requirements of the business, this role acts as a strategic advisor, partner and conduit between employees, senior leaders, executives and the People and Culture (P&C) team to drive superior workplace relations management and deliverables across the business and positively impact culture.

With a collaborative and agile style, this role will lead, manage, and undertake a range of complex, technical and/or highly sensitive ER/IR activities, whilst upskilling leaders and P&C team members in effective ER management practices.

Our P&C purpose is “enabling excellence in our people” and this role plays an important part in ensuring a focus on wellbeing and OH&S through developing and implementing an organisation-wide wellbeing strategy that includes targeted initiatives and programs that align to enhance our EVP wellbeing pillar.

**About you**

As a seasoned senior ER specialist, you will be detailed in your approach while taking a ‘whole organisation’ focus. A visible operator and trusted expert to our leaders, P&C team and Executives, you will be commercially astute and a pragmatic thinker. Integrity, discretion, ER/IR expertise and insight as well as a demonstrated history of developing and implementing frameworks, systems, processes and practices in relation to terms and conditions of employment, consultation, dispute prevention and settlement, negotiation and bargaining will ensure success in this role. You will keep abreast of current employment law and legislation and have the ability translate that in a way our business will understand and action.

**What’s in it for you?**
- Access to great benefits, including a market competitive remuneration package
- Up to $5000 professional development budget
- Up to 5 days of additional (paid) leave per year
- 15% super

HESTA is a great place to work but don’t take our word for it, we were named (again) Employer of Choice for Gender Equality 2021.

It is important to protect the health, safety and wellbeing of all HESTA employees, and those people they come into contact with at work and reduce the risk of COVID spreading in the workplace and the wider community, therefore all HESTA employees are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
