**Your day to day**
We’re looking for someone who can join our team as Part Time Porter who will welcome hotel guests with personalized service, offering an appropriate greeting to the time of day, taking note of repeat guests and IHG One Reward Members. You will assist in the Holiday Inn guest journey to provide seamless service either arriving or leaving the hotel.
You will be working to ensure every guest has a memorable experience by:
- Communicating to guests in a courteous tone and manner
- Valet parking and retrieving guest cars
- Assist guests with luggage and belongings to/from rooms
- Answering Front Office phones to assist with guest queries whether about the hotel facilities or the city.
- Delivering amenities and other items to guest rooms
- Assist with room service deliveries when busy
- Assist with in-room amenities restock
**What we need from you**
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in customer service-based positions
- Professional presentation and superior communication skills
- Demonstrate strong local knowledge of Perth and the surrounding regions and have a willingness and confidence to share this knowledge with our guests.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings, regular weekends and public holidays
- Full C class Australian driver's license - Manual
- Unlimited working rights in Australia
- Passion for delivering excellent customer service and providing a memorable guest experience.
