**The Opportunity**

Boeing Defence Australia is seeking a highly motivated Contract Specialist as a key team member of our commercial management team to support a number of Defence contracts across a range of projects. The role is based in **Brisbane.**

**Responsibilities**
- Manage and coordinate the drafting and negotiation of contract change proposals and agreements including internal contractual reviews and approvals
- Provide specialist contractual and commercial support and advice to the Boeing Project leadership team
- Identify, monitor and assist in the mitigation of contractual risks during the performance of the various contracts
- Act as the primary contact with the Defence customer for all contractual matters

**Experience / Qualifications**
- Minimum of 3 years' experience with Australian Defence contracts or other complex commercial contracts.
- Experience in proposal development, contract negotiation, contract management and administration.
- Demonstrated skills in successfully negotiating contracts.
- Formal qualifications in a related discipline (Law, Accounting or Business Management).
