An exciting nine month opportunity exists for an Adviser, Cabinet and Committees to join the Department of Premier and Cabinet Office.

The Cabinet Office plays a leadership role within DPC and across government. It provides specialist policy advice, and coordination and administrative support to facilitate informed Executive Government decision-making and compliance with Cabinet processes and protocols. The Cabinet Office is also responsible for ensuring the security and preservation of Cabinet records, managing correspondence, performance reporting of election commitments, monitoring VAGO audits and managing DPC's relationship with the Auditor-General.

As the Adviser, Cabinet and Committees, you will be an integral part of the DPC Cabinet Office, providing high-quality secretariat and administration services for the Premier, Cabinet Secretary and other senior officials. You will assess and provide information and advice on Executive Government processes and guidelines, and prepare briefs, submissions, correspondence and reports on a range of complex and/or sensitive issues.

This is an exciting opportunity to demonstrate your stakeholder management, coordination and relationship building skills, and gain a valuable understanding of DPC's role as a central agency and its primary stakeholders.

**About you**
- Sound knowledge and understanding of Victorian Government policies and processes relating to business management and service delivery.
- Highly developed interpersonal and relationship building skills, with an ability to forge partnerships with a variety of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and ability to meet deadlines while working in pressured situations.
