Health Information Manager Lead

About the role
Permanent full time opportunity to be responsible for coordination and conduct of all Health Information Management related functions within their allocated clinical stream. Actively participate in the project management and implementation of ieMR initiatives within the assigned clinical stream and assist in the development and coordination of change management processes required for eHealth systems implementations.
About you
- In consultation with the Health Informatics Team, provision of data management and reporting services relating to clinical audit, research and Activity based Funding within the clinical stream.
- Participate in the reporting of clinical stream performance data for HIS supported systems including Enterprise Discharge Summary (EDS), The Viewer and Winscribe.
- Assist in the development and implementation of tools, materials and procedures aimed to improve clinical documentation for coding and reporting purposes.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and coordination the clinical coding education program including education schedules which incorporate coder competencies, education and training sessions and coding education needs based on coding audit outcomes.
