As an Assistant Service Manager at Melville Hyundai, you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient operation of our service department. You will work closely with the Service Manager to oversee daily activities, manage service staff, and ensure our customers receive outstanding service and support.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist the Service Manager in overseeing the service department operations.
- Ensure efficient workflow and proper allocation of tasks among service staff.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of customer service and satisfaction.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and promptly.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and accurate vehicle repairs and maintenance.
- Assist in managing service department budgets, inventory, and resources.
- Support training and development initiatives for service staff.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Manager.

**Qualifications**:

- High school certificate or equivalent; further education in automotive technology or a related field is advantageous.
- Proven experience in a service department role, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Proficient in automotive service software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid WA driver’s licence.
