We are an established steakhouse located in a bustling dining precinct. We are seeking an experienced **Venue Assistant Manager** to join our team.

This hands-on role requires a dynamic individual with a customer-centric approach, a keen eye for detail, and a personality which can build lasting relationships.

**Responsibilities**:

- Reporting and working alongside the Venue Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the day to day smooth and successful operation of the restaurant, while upholding our commitment to quality and service. You’ll bring impeccable grooming, positive and upbeat attitude, and a genuine love for all things beef
- **Hands-On Management**: Lead by example with a hands-on management style, actively engaging with both customers and staff to ensure exceptional service.
- **Customer Centricity**: Build and nurture strong relationships with our valued customers, ensuring their needs are met, and expectations exceeded at every service. Become familiar with their dining preferences, and ensure a turn-key experience for them **every time**
- **Impeccable Grooming**: Present yourself with professionalism and attention to detail, upholding the standard for grooming and appearance within the team.
- **Experience**: Bring a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating a track record of success in hospitality.
- **Menu and Beverage Knowledge**: Possess a deep understanding of menus, ingredients, wine and spirits. Knowledge of beef and various steak cuts and be able to effectively guide both customers and staff.
- **Training**: Utilise your natural ability to train and develop others, empowering our team members to excel in their roles.
- **Positive Attitude**: Maintain an upbeat, friendly demeanour that motivates and inspires others, fostering a positive work environment.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry.
- Extensive knowledge of menus, ingredients, wine, spirits. Any previous knowledge of beef and steak cuts is a PLUS.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to motivate and inspire a team to deliver exceptional results.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
