**Your Team**:
**As a leading retailer, Super Retail Group must meet customers’ increasingly high expectations around sustainability, social corporate responsibility and governance, as well as deliver experiences that build a stronger emotional connection to our brand. The Sponsorships and Events team leads a range of activities to meet these customer expectations and grow sporting participation.**

**Your Role**:
**Reporting into our Sponsorship and Events Manager, The Assistant Events Manager is responsible for planning, developing and executing events that underpin rebel’s sponsorship and community engagement strategy. This role will require some interstate travel.**

**No two days will be the same but your role will involve**:

- Developing key initiatives within allocated partnerships to support sponsorship strategy objectives
- Making key operational decisions in relation to problems, issues and opportunities within the portfolio of work by identifying, reviewing and deciding on appropriate course of action
- Producing Post-Event reports analysing activities against core objectives and providing recommendations for future improvements
- Workflow management of allocated accounts and projects to ensure timely planning, communication, execution and reporting of allocated partnerships and projects as agreed and on time
- Proactively identifying new opportunities to collaborate with trade partners and internal teams to support the sponsorship strategy

**About You**:

- 4+ years Agency and Partner relationship management
- 5+ years Event planning and management
- Be able to maintain a calm and level headed in a fast paced, deadline driven environment where change is the only constant
- Enjoy working autonomously and taking full ownership of their stakeholder relationships
- Be diligent in tracking team activity via record keeping and report writing
- Be adept at budgeting and financial management
