Logistics Analyst

- What does an On-Site Logistics Analyst do?_

The Logistics Analyst will manage and code invoices that the third-party freight payment center deems “exceptions” and ensure these invoices are paid in a timely manner. In addition, the Account Manager will work together with the third-party freight payment center, client staff, and their team to put corrective actions in place to reduce invoice exceptions.

**Compensation**:$55,000-$65,000 Annual AUD

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate invoice payment and audit functions - using logistic service provider contracts, rates, and payment terms/conditions to audit and rate transactions
- Manage and code invoices that the third-party freight payment center deems as “exceptions” to facilitate payment in a timely manner
- Coordinate with the client’s freight pay contacts, client staff, and the logistics team to put corrective actions in place to reduce invoice exceptions
- Review invoices and reports for logistic service provider invoice errors such as overbilling, duplicate invoicing, etc.
- Identify and document cost saving opportunities and productivity improvement areas as appropriate
- Allocate costs with input from various sources and client’s businesses
- Create and maintain workflows as appropriate for logistic service providers to use for customer service inquiries or as appropriate
- Maintain and update freight audit records for the client
- Participate on conference calls and provide input on processes, procedures or status of accounts payable as requested
- Respond to customer service inquiries with comprehensive answers in a timely manner
- Proactively recommend solutions and process improvements as appropriate
- Train and reinforce correct invoicing process in client and carrier contexts
- This role includes supporting the Logistics team with tracking and basic routing functions as needed
