**The Company**
Burra Foods is an Australian dairy ingredient processor that for over two decades has been producing and marketing value-added dairy products to the global food manufacturing market. Specialising in creating products that deliver the functional and sensory characteristics of fresh milk, they have significant international market experience and a reputation for being a reliable supplier of high-quality dairy products. These include, fresh milk concentrates, food preparations, specialty milk powders and fresh dairy ingredients. Their manufacturing plant is located in the heart of beautiful South Gippsland at Korumburra, in south-eastern Victoria, and they have offices in Melbourne, Hong Kong and Tokyo.

**The Role**
This is a permanent role that reports directly to the General Manager
- Supply Chain and will manage the end-to-end logistics process from goods inwards right through to distribution and export. You will be responsible for a small team and will also manage the relationships with 3pl providers across the frozen, chilled and ambient warehouses.
This is a hybrid role that will combine working on day-to-day warehousing and distribution activities while also working on continuous improvement projects within logistics.
You will be empowered and trusted to structure your week around business initiatives, you will be based in Korumburra at least 1-2 day a week, spend 1 day a week at the 3pl site in the western suburbs and will then have the flexibility to work from home for the remainder of the week.

**Skills & Experience**
- 5 years industry experience and an in-depth knowledge of transport and warehouse management.
- Experience working in a HACCP environment is preferred
- Proven success managing strong relationships with 3pl providers and transport companies
- A passion for continuous improvement and demonstrate the initiative to highlight and drive improvements.
- Prior experience in SAP Demonstrated experience to directly lead a team in a commercial business environment**.**
