A fantastic opportunity for a General Manager with extensive hospitality experience and a hands-on approach to lead and manage the iconic Parramatta Leagues Club.

**About us**

Parramatta Leagues Club (PLC) is one of Australia’s most iconic Clubs in the Western Sydney region. We are passionate about bringing together our community, supporting local causes and offering welcoming experiences for our members and community by delivering exceptional service.

This is an exciting time to join our Club as we embark on the execution of our strategic plan which includes a refresh of our Clubhouse, digital transformation, expansion of our facilities as well as exploring potential opportunities in our precinct.

**Duties will include, but are not limited to**:

- Plan and manage the daily operations of all areas of the Parra Leagues licensed premises and operational staff.
- Lead and develop a high performing team, facilitate ongoing development, and motivate staff to achieve their full potential.
- Ensure the delivery of a consistent and exceptional customer experience to our members and guests.
- Build a highly inclusive and collaborative culture.
- Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team and key stakeholders to plan and deliver the club’s strategic plan with a focus on operational excellence and member experiences.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of the Club’s offerings, provide strategic recommendations based on financial analysis and projections.
- Prepare and implement budgets, effectively manages financial forecasting, monitors progress, and presents operational metrics for monthly board reports as required.

**About you**:

- Previous experience as a CEO, COO, General Manager or Club Manager
- Have an engaging character and can inspire and motivate the business
- Exemplary hospitality, gaming, and commercial acumen
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities and projects
- Inspiring and influential leadership and management skills and experience in mentoring and developing team members.
- Passionate about the hospitality industry and committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop good working relationship and liaise with a wide network of stakeholders.
- Can “roll up your sleeves” and lead the resolution of problems under demanding time constraints.
- Extensive knowledge of club operations including gaming and food and beverage departments and all relevant legislation
- A genuine commitment to WHS principles and fostering a safe working environment.
- Ability to work shift work, weekends and public holidays if needed.
- Bachelor of Hospitality, Business or Commerce (desirable)
