To continue the growth of our organisation, we are seeking a General Manager, People & Culture with the experience, capability and talent to lead our Human Resources Department.

As the owner of a key Strategic Pillar (People and Culture) you will be a key strategic partner to the Chief Executive Officer. With a passionate, progressive, and commercial approach to the people and culture function you will be able to utilise your leadership, change management, strategic-thinking and executive influencing skills to make a real impact in this fast-paced role.

The role: *
**Key Responsibilities include;**
- Analyse trends and metrics in partnership with the broader HR team to develop solutions, programs and policies as needed.
- Participate as an active member of the Leadership Team and role model the vision and values throughout the business.
- Drive the development and execution of business plans to improve the employee experience with the aim of becoming an Employer of Choice.
- Work closely with management and employees to develop and implement initiatives that will enhance working relationships within the business unit, build morale, increase productivity, and manage retention.
- Drive the Club’s values and culture and embed these behaviours across the business to deliver a culture of success centred around our customers and people.
- Oversee the implementation of various People and Culture initiatives including reward and recognition, well-being initiatives and leadership development programs.
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management including coaching, counselling, career development, and disciplinary actions.
- Implement and streamline business processes and systems specific to people management.

**Skills & Experience required**
- Substantial experience in providing high level strategic and operational leadership
- Strong transformational change experience in the areas of culture, workforce strategy and innovation.
- Appropriate Tertiary qualifications in Business, Human Resources or a related discipline.
- An ability to work collaboratively with executive peers and demonstrate a united approach to leadership.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in staff development, management and leadership initiatives.
- A minimum of 15 years of HR experience, with at least five years of executive HR experience.
