Are you ready to be a vital part of our dedicated team at First Floors Commercial? We're a locally-operated flooring company based in Canberra, specializing in residential and commercial projects. Currently, we're seeking hardworking individuals to join us as layers assistant/labour. Best suited for hardworking younger individuals looking to gain experience in the Flooring industry with a potential to move into a Flooring Apprentice under a Registered Training Organization (RTO)

**Essential Requirements**:

- **White Card**: Essential for construction work.
- **Asbestos Awareness Card**: Prioritizing safety at all times.

**Preferred Requirements**
- **Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP)**: Demonstrates our commitment to community care.
- **Driver's License**: Ability to operate work vehicles.

**Responsibilities**: As an assistant to our layers, you'll play a critical role in our daily operations. Your responsibilities will include:

- **General Labouring Duties**: Supporting various on-site tasks, including lifting, moving, and organizing materials.
- **Occasional Driving**: Safely operating work vehicles as required for project needs.
- **Physical Demands**: Tackling physically demanding tasks, such as heavy lifting and working in challenging environments.
- **Site Maintenance**: Ensuring cleanliness and organization on job sites to promote safety and efficiency.
