**Your Role**
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Boardroom Waiter/Receptionist to join our team in a permanent, full-time capacity.
Based in the Canberra CBD, this role is part of our Client Floor team and is primarily responsible for delivering first-class reception and wait services to our client floor.
While the position is based at Reception, it also involves supporting all areas of client service.
Reporting to the Client services Team Leader, your tasks and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Providing a highly professional Reception experience for our clients, staff and visitors
- Providing room waiting for meetings, functions & events (some events will be outside hours)
- Making barista coffee & tea for clients
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the reheat kitchen
- Assisting in the service of catered/precooked meals
- Basic food preparation for events
- Purchasing ad-hoc catering
- Tracking upcoming bookings & recording charges in our Event Management System (EMS)
- Assisting with room set-ups, including moving furniture and opening/closing wall panels
- Assisting with ordering and stock management
- Processing invoices and other relevant admin tasks
- Setting up AV equipment, participating in testing & assisting users with queries
- Providing reception coverage when required
- Ensuring meeting rooms & reception areas are tidy, presentable and attended at all times
- Ensuring staff breakout, reception & library kitchenette are clean and well stocked
- Adhering to all firm policies and procedures, in particular confidentiality and WH&S Policies
**More About You**
- 1-3 years' experience as a waiter and/or receptionist in a professional services environment
- Immaculate grooming and personal presentation
- Experience working in a fast paced environment delivering premium service and offerings
- Barista and coffee making skills would be an advantage
- Being tech savvy would be an advantage
- Good keyboard skills and knowledge of Word and Excel
- A strong commitment to teamwork and reliable
- Food Safety supervisor certificate, R.S.A. Competency card, First Aid Certificate and Fire Warden experience would be an added bonus
