About the Centre:
River Street Medical Centre (Part of Bupa) is a contemporary and compact site in a vibrant location, surrounded by a shopping precinct. This clinic is linked to a cluster of 3 practices providing further opportunities and hours within our network.

Our Healthcare centre, based in South Yarra, is a modern practice offering GP consultations, Telehealth, procedures and nursing services to the local community. The practice services the local community, meaning patients don’t have to be a Bupa health insurance member or aged care resident to visit our GPs and allied health professionals.

The Opportunity:
We have a versatile, exciting and rewarding opportunity at our River Street Medical Centre available for Medical Receptionists seeking casual or permanent part-time work:

- Part-Time role: Monday to Wednesday weekly
- Casual role: Wednesday to Friday weekly
- Friendly, fun and dedicated team
- Meet and greet patients, providing a great first impression
- Book and amend appointments, answering the phone, updating patient records
- Supporting the Practice Manager and clinical team with the smooth running of the practice
- processing payments via EFTPOS, HICAPs and Medicare
- Accessing sensitive information whilst maintaining patient confidentiality
- High-end patient care; building & maintaining relationships with all clients in a friendly & warm manner

You’ll be:
Our Receptionists come from a wide variety of backgrounds and work experiences. To be successful in the role, you’ll need:

- Previous Medical Reception experience is essential for this role
- Experience with Best Practice Software is preferable
- You're a motivated self-starter, this is a fast paced and dynamic role
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Passionate about customer service and patient care
- Organised with attention to detail
- Ability to build rapport with patients, in a cheerful, light-hearted manner
