**About the Role**
The Learning Designer will develop, design, and maintain learning assets for the Melbourne Dental School’s programs, including the Doctor of Dental Surgery, Bachelor of Oral Health, and Doctor of Clinical Dentistry. Collaborating closely with program directors, course coordinators, and academic staff, the role involves creating assessments, curriculum, and supporting the effective delivery of MDS programs. This dynamic position requires excellent self-management, the ability to manage multiple projects, and strong relationship-building with stakeholders to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Design, develop or redevelop learning experiences for online and face to face delivery to meet specified learning objectives of the learning assets.
- Support the development, maintenance and administration of high-quality interactive resources to support learning design.
- Maintain a sound knowledge of current University Policy and Procedures, and reliably follow these or provide compliant advice to others.

**Who We Are Looking For**

You will also have:

- A degree with substantial relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Demonstrated ability in designing learning assets and special experiences in online and face to face delivery modes.
- Experience in developing support and guide material for staff and student in using new educational systems and new learning materials.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to demonstrate flexibility, initiative and to act with diplomacy and tact.
