**What you’ll do**
This role will focus on building a strong delivery-focused team and maintaining best practices whilst supporting the technical architecture of the payments processing strategy of Wpay. This role will also have people responsibility for a mix of Engineers & Quality Assurance resources supporting the payments switch.
Additionally you will;
- Manage a technical team including QA specialists for the core payments platform.
- Develop and maintain a roadmap for software development, support, and QA.
- Ensure compliance with PCI and Scheme standards.
- Represent Wpay in Auspaynet forums.
- Conduct performance reviews and support team career development.
**What you'll bring**
- Understanding of Payments systems will be of benefit but not mandatory
- Exposure to modern Engineering practices
- Leadership experience extending to medium/large teams.
- Ability to negotiate and trade off on priorities with the stakeholders
- Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives
