Engineering Manager

Full Time Opportunity
We are looking for an Engineering Manager (EM) - End User Compute who will be accountable for the design, engineering, and delivery of robust, secure, and scalable EUC solutions in a modern Windows-based environment.
Leading a team of EUC Engineers, the role will drive ownership of the architecture, configuration, and lifecycle management of our Windows-based EUC environment. You will deliver secure, modern, and automated device management solutions using tools such as Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, SCCM, Group Policy, and Active Directory.
A key focus will be driving quality and reliability through testing, proactive monitoring, and endpoint analytics, while also championing a quality-first approach across all EUC changes
You will explore and implement generative AI tools like Copilot and ChatGPT to improve end-user experience and IT efficiency, and introduce automation using PowerShell, Graph API, or Logic Apps to streamline configuration, onboarding, and incident response.
**Key responsibilities of the role include**:

- Lead the architecture, configuration, and lifecycle management of EUC platforms using Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, SCCM, and Active Directory.
- Drive quality, testing, and performance monitoring across EUC systems, ensuring a seamless end-user experience.
- Champion the adoption of generative AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT) to improve IT support and workplace productivity.
- Introduce automation (PowerShell, Graph API, Logic Apps) to streamline onboarding, incident response, and ongoing improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering with security, governance, and operational goals.
- Lead and develop a team of EUC Engineers and Quality Analysts in a high-performance, forward-thinking culture.

What are we looking for?
**Technical**:

- 6+ years in EUC infrastructure engineering, with 2+ years in team leadership or management roles.
- Deep expertise in Windows 10/11, Microsoft Intune, SCCM, Azure AD, Active Directory, Group Policy, and endpoint protection.
- Strong scripting/automation experience (e.g., PowerShell, Graph API, or similar).
- Proven success in building high-performing engineering teams with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.

**Desirable**:

- Microsoft certifications (e.g., MD-102, AZ-104, MS-100)
- Experience with Quality Assurance or Testing frameworks in an EUC context
- Familiarity with Generative AI ecosystems (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, OpenAI, Azure OpenAI)
- Understanding of ITIL processes and service integration with IT operations
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

**Ways of Working**:

- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and processes, e.g. Scrum, Kanban
- Experience with employing Extreme Programming (XP) practices such as TDD and pair programming.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
- Prior involvement with production support / incident response
- Knowledge of good Application Security practices.
